A few more touches of Spring

On previous posts I talked about getting some great vintage pieces and well i put them around the house starting with the beautiful painting...

I put the framed painting over my couch,
it seemed a bit small on its own..

So I decided to put back some of my empty frames that i had up there before to add a lil more to the painting..

Now this is what it looks like...
Not sure which way i like it more..

Your opinions would be greatly appreciated =)

I also talked about my lovely Tea Tray..

I decided to use it as my living rooms center piece on my ottoman with a lil bouquet of spring roses..
It seemed to heavy for me to carry out as a Tea tray maybe eventually ill use it to hold my tea pot and some cute tea cups.

I also got a cute clear soap dispenser in my master bathroom to give it a more spa, spring like feeling..

Put it next to my pretty bouquet of peonies..

Above my fridge I have my cooking and baking books with my favorite tea cup and a glass pitcher with a bouquet of  poppy flowers

& in the kitchen a bouquet of white roses next to my tea cups, a box of yummy teas and honey =)

One of my favorite parts about spring....
Flowers.. Can you tell?
I intend to put them everywhere!

  1. I like the painting better with the Frames around it! its trendy and much nicer than one small painting above a big couch.

Also LOVE you tea tray. I'll be keeping my eye out for something similiar on my next antiquing trip.

  3. I love the frame arrangement, much better with the additional four empty frame... I'd even go further and add a few more - maybe 2 more on each side?

  14. I love the look of the clear soap dispenser! My toddler just dropped ours in the bathroom and cracked it so it leaks... I'm definitely going to look around for a clear dispenser.

  20. I think putting all the empty frames around it def makes a much bigger statement. Plus, I'd rather have empty frames then frames filled wth pictures I didn't LOVE.

  24. Oh wow, how pretty! So springy and beautiful. It looks like something out of a magazine. Really!

I can't decide which way I like the picture arrangement better. I think I like it with the empty frames around it, and like another commenter said, you could even add a few smaller ones around the side.

P.S. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! <3
